“Get Some Scars EP” is out now - a collection of Lux Lisbon tracks from the last year, all of which have been supported by BBC 6Music on various shows. Three of the four tracks are featured in ambitious and varied promo videos, featuring (amongst other things) an 8-bit zombie apocalypse, several dancing Boris Johnsons and an almighty homage to Wes Anderson.

We were guests on the hashtagtoplegend Tom Simkin’s show on BBC Cambridge tonight, he spun ‘The Devil Got Me Dancing’ and we did acoustic/ukelele/harmony versions of ‘Get Some Scars’ and “Bullingdon Club’. Then Tom treated us to a few ales. Wadda guy. Loved it. Stu wore his ‘space in a face’ Dog is Dead Tee and Rob wore some fetching neckwear.

A UK tour follows as Lux Lisbon looks to follow a year which has seen them play Bestival, Hyde Park and several BBC Introducing Live Sessions with support from Tom Robinson, John Kennedy and Billy Bragg.

GSS Videoshoot - 12 hour day finishing the shoot for the Wes Anderson inspired ‘Get Some Scars’ video on Saturday, much of it quite random - a complete stranger in the street offered the use of his mintcondish 1971 Moris Minor (thanks Mick) and we bumped into Javon and his mates from Peckham U11’s football team who now star, bullying Stu on a roundabout.
